It is runs along the Kathmandu to Lhasa Highway (Arniko Highway). Bhote Koshi is the attractive for adventure trip with very steep and basically non-stop mountain river. It's a great trainee river for rafters and fun for kayakers at all levels.

We operate rafting in Bhotekoshi a day trip or two days. Only 3 hours drives from Kathmandu offering one or two days of intense and challenging river raft activities. Our Rafting guides are experienced rafters who have run all the rivers we offer and have the talents to provide you with a safe and pleasant trip. There will always be a rafting guide in every boat who will give commands on paddling and pick out the safest way on the river.

Day 01: Kathmandu drive to Lamosagu Dam Rafting – Drive to Kathmandu at 4 Pm.

Day 01: Kathmandu drive to Lamosagu Dam Rafting – Overnight at Camp

Day 02: Rafting and drive to Kathmandu

 

Itinerary Detail- 1 Day Rafting

Day 01: Kathmandu drive to Lamosagu Dam Rafting, We drive early in the morning at 5 Am in the morning.We take a driving to 95 km. east from Kathmandu is the starting point Lomosangu Dam of the trip. This is a spectacular drive through villages and if weather permits, you will have fantastic mountain views i.e. Ganesh Himal, Langtang etc, we raft the first 10 km of the MOST exciting stretch of the river and then return to the start to play again the same stretch the next day rather than continue with only half a day paddling to the end. We have lunch on the river and continue the action until the take out point Dolalghat Bazaar about 2 to 3 p.m. and bus back to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu.

 

Itinerary Detail- 2 Days

Day 01: Kathmandu drive to Lamosagu Dam Rafting O/N Camp

We take a driving to 95 km. east from Kathmandu is the starting point Lomosangu Dam of the trip. Day 02: Contineus rafting and drive return to kathmandu

After breakfast a quick pack up and set out (approx. 9 to 10 a.m.) run white water hit again a class 3 rapid starting from upper section. You have the second chance to show how your raft team can work well together in challenging rapids. We have lunch on the river and continue the action until the take out point Dolalghat Bazaar about 2 to 3 p.m. and bus back to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu.

Essential Information

What to bring with you

Please bring with you shorts and a T-shirt or swimwear for on the river, suitable footwear for wearing in the raft, warm clothing for the evenings, a towel, sun block and your camera. A flashlight is also useful.

 

What you need to tell us

Please tell us if you are a non-swimmer, or not very confident in the water. Also it is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your well being on the trip.Don?t forget to request vegetarian meals if required.
